Ramazani and £70k-a-week star – Three Leeds players with a point to prove
Largie Ramazani is one of several players who have a big campaign ahead of them with Leeds United.
In just over two weeks, Leeds will return to the Premier League with a clash against Everton, and the lineup will have a very different look to it.
However, those who played a key role in their promotion from the Championship will also have a huge part to play, and certainly a point to prove.
Ramazani is certainly high up on the list of those with all of the latest transfer rumours.

Leeds must utilise Ramazani in the Premier League
The Belgian had a very troubled campaign last time out, starting just seven of the 29 appearances he made in the Championship.
With that said, Ramazani still registered eight goal contributions in the league, which translates to one every 97 minutes.
Competition | Games | Goals | Assists | Minutes played |
Championship | 29 | 6 | 2 | 783′ |
FA Cup | 2 | 1 | – | 180′ |
LaLiga2 | 1 | 1 | – | 90′ |
Total | 32 | 8 | 2 | 1.053′ |
After the failed move for Igor Paixao, there is still a lot of uncertainty over who will feature on the left flank, and Ramazani certainly has a point to prove that he can be the one to make the step up.
If Daniel Farke shows faith in the 24-year-old, he certainly has the ability to produce the goods for the Whites in the top flight.

Aaronson must show more for Leeds
If there was one player to have struggled last season, it was certainly Aaronson, who, despite playing all 46 of Leeds’ Championship fixtures, registered just two assists.
- Date of birth: 22 October 2000 (24)
- Date joined: 2022
- Appearances: 89
- Goal contributions: 15
- Contract expiry: June 2027
Farke showed faith in the USMNT international throughout the campaign, despite calls for him to be dropped.
However, Aaronson certainly failed to impress last time he was in the Premier League, and if Farke is to maintain that faith in his number 10, he needs to produce much more for the Whites.

James must put his Premier League history behind him
With a wage of £70,000 per week [Capology], James is the second-highest earner at Leeds, only behind Jack Harrison.
The Welsh international registered an incredible 21 goal contributions in the Championship last season, despite missing 10 games.
However, his Premier League record is a tough read.
In 106 Premier League appearances, James has managed just 24 goal contributions, and that will need to improve.
When averaged out per season, it works out at just over eight contributions, and that will need to be increased if Leeds are to have any chance of avoiding the drop.
