Junior Firpo axed in two changes – Leeds United predicted XI v Oxford United
Daniel Farke could make two changes to his Leeds United 11 for their encounter with Oxford United on Good Friday.
Leeds moved one step closer to promotion with their latest 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough, and will be looking to go one further against the Yellows this weekend.
Both sides have it all to play for ahead of the final four games, with Oxford not yet safe from relegation, while Leeds still need a win or two to seal their place in the Premier League.
With that in mind, Farke could look to freshen up part of his defence, while slightly altering his attack in the absence of others.

Farke could rotate his 11 slightly v Oxford
Karl Darlow is yet to put a foot wrong in the absence of Illan Meslier, and he is likely to retain his place in goal from now until the end of the campaign.
Jayden Bogle registered the assist for Dan James’ goal at the Riverside, and he is expected to retain his place in the 11, with Junior Firpo potentially dropping out for Sam Byram.
Firpo did little wrong against Boro, but Farke may simply look to inject some fresh legs into his defence, which is likely to remain unchanged apart from his inclusion.
Championship table (top three) | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
1 Leeds | 42 | 53 | 88 |
2 Burnley | 42 | 44 | 88 |
3 Sheffield Utd | 42 | 24 | 83 |
That would see Ethan Ampadu partner Joe Rodon in the heart of defence, a partnership that has worked well throughout the campaign.
Joe Rothwell is expected to miss the clash with injury, leaving Farke with very few options when it comes to his midfield choices. Ao Tanaka will almost definitely start, and the lack of options means that Ilia Gruev could partner him yet again.

The second change comes in the form of Brenden Aaronson, who, despite failing to impress consistently for Leeds, has usually remained in the starting 11.
Farke may look to drop him for this one-off game and move Joel Piroe into the 10 role, which would see Mateo Joseph lead the line.
On either side of him could be Manor Solomon and Willy Gnonto, with James still not expected back in time for the game.
