Joe Rodon sensational, 3/10 abysmal – Leeds United 2025-26 player ratings so far

Leeds United have had an underwhelming start to life back in the Premier League.

Relegation looks like a true possibility for Leeds, who head into this weekend’s clash with Aston Villa looking for only their second win since September.

Pressure has been mounting on Daniel Farke to turn the tide at Elland Road, though time is running out for him to do so.

However, with 11 games of the season completed, MOT Leeds News rates the performances of each player.

Joe Rodon has been Leeds’ best defender this season

Joe Rodon has been reliable as ever for Leeds this season, and he has made that centre-back position his own in the Premier League.

Whether he has played alongside Jaka Bijol or Pascal Struijk, the Welsh international has been at the top of his game consistently.

With two goals to his name as well, he is actually the Whites’ top scorer this season, though that says more about Leeds’ attacking concerns than anything.

Alongside summer signing Gabriel Gudmundsson, Rodon has comfortably been the best-performing defender at Elland Road this season

Sean Longstaff has impressed since summer arrival

Sean Longstaff has been a surprise package for Leeds this season, having started the campaign as more of a rotation option after his move from Newcastle.

However, he has very quickly established himself as the first name on the teamsheet in the midfield, displacing Ao Tanaka in the process,

While he may not have been the biggest name that came to Elland Road in the summer, he is certainly proving to be one of the most important additions that the Whites made.

Noah Okafor has carried Leeds’ attack

Noah Okafor has been a rare positive for Leeds in a season that has brought little other than pessimism up to now.

Injuries aside, the Swiss winger has looked dangerous every time he has stepped onto the pitch, and largely had his ability to influence games restricted by the lack of quality around him in the forward areas.

He is emerging as the best signing that Leeds made in the summer, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is certainly towards the other end of the scale.

Calvert-Lewin has scored just once for the Whites this season, despite being the starting striker more often than not.
