Joe Cole certain about Jose Mourinho amid shock Leeds United links
Daniel Farke’s position as Leeds United boss has been brought into question even though he has guided the Whites to promotion.
The 49ers Enterprises are reportedly anxious by Farke’s poor Premier League record with former club Norwich, and could sack the German.
However, Leeds have responded to claims that they were having managerial talks with potential Farke replacements, instead stating that the 49ers are looking to fill the vacancy at Rangers.
But the West Yorkshire giants have been linked with a move to hire former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Cole predicts Mourinho will return to Premier League
While the Whites could still be tempted to bring Mourinho to Elland Road, Joe Cole is certain his former Chelsea boss is set to return to England.
Speaking on TNT Sports on Saturday (26 April), Cole said: “I still think that man Jose Mourinho has a lot to give European football and I would love to see him back in the Premier League because he’s box office.
“I think he’s a genius as a manager, and I really do hope we see him in the Premier League again because he’s still got it, and I’d love to see him on these shores. I think we will 100 per cent see him because he loves England.”

Cole’s comments should concern Leeds fans
The Leeds faithful should be concerned by the fact that Cole is certain that Mourinho will return to England while the West Yorkshire giants have been linked with his services.
Championship table | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
1 Burnley | 45 | 51 | 97 |
2 Leeds | 44 | 60 | 94 |
The 62-year-old boasts a truly remarkable CV, having enjoyed success at numerous clubs and twice won the Champions League.
However, it is clear that Mourinho is not the manager he once was, and he has not won a trophy since guiding Roma to Conference League glory in 2022.
Fenerbahce currently sit behind bitter rivals Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig title race, while it is clear that the Istanbul giants acquired his services to lift the top-flight title at the end of the season.
It is evident that in the event Leeds opt to sack Farke, Mourinho would not be the right man to help Leeds obtain Premier League survival next term.
