Jermaine Beckford has already predicted ‘brilliant’ Leeds target to become ‘something special’
Leeds United have had a busy transfer window, but they still could bring in new faces ahead of the deadline.
Over the past few weeks, Leeds have secured the services of Lucas Perri, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornouw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach and Lukas Nmecha.
However, they continue to be linked with new players and a Leeds move for Tottenham winger Manor Solomon still appears to be on the cards.

Bilal El Khannouss has been lauded by Jermaine Beckford
Last season, Bilal El Khannouss was playing in the Premier League for Leicester City, who finished in 18th place.
With the Foxes now in the second tier, the Morocco international is considering leaving them.
Leeds have been in talks for El Khannouss, but the attacking midfielder is still at the King Power Stadium despite links to Elland Road.
Jermaine Beckford is an admirer of the 21-year-old and was raving over his performances last season.
He said back in February, as quoted by the BBC: “El Khannouss was brilliant, I really enjoyed his performance. I like his arrogance – every time he got on the ball he tried to make things happen and be forward-thinking.
“I want to see more from him, a bit more energy. Run a little bit harder and close players down. When you pick the ball up, be a bit more like Jordan Ayew; pick the ball up and be direct.
“I saw enough of him today to think that this kid could be something special.”

Leeds United priortise Noah Okaford deal
Leeds United must prioritise signing Noah Okafor over El Khannouss to strengthen their attack and improve their chances of avoiding relegation in the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Okafor, a 24-year-old AC Milan forward, brings proven versatility and goal-scoring ability.
Stats | El Khannouss |
Goals | 2 |
Assists | 3 |
Chances created | 42 |
Shots per 90 | 1.23 |
His speed, dribbling, and ability to play across the front line complement Daniel Farke’s high-pressing, dynamic 4-2-3-1 system, addressing Leeds’ need for a consistent attacking threat amid Patrick Bamford’s likely exit and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s seemingly imminent arrival.
El Khannouss, while a talented playmaker, offers less immediate impact in the final third.
With financial constraints and a critical need for goals to compete against robust Premier League defences, Okafor’s proven pedigree and adaptability make him the priority to secure crucial points.
