Japhet Tanganga makes transfer decision after Leeds United news
Leeds United are one of several sides looking to bring Japhet Tanganga back to the Premier League.
Tanganga has been in the Championship with Millwall over the last 18 months, where his outstanding performances have attracted the interest of several clubs currently at English football’s top table.
Leeds are one of several who are in hot pursuit of the 26-year-old, who looks set to be at the centre of a major transfer battle, which also includes the likes of Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland.
Daniel Farke desperately needs to add Premier League quality throughout his squad if Leeds are to compete next season, and securing a move for Tanganga would be a perfect start toward achieving that goal.

Tanganga wants to move to Europe
Tanganga has a bargain £1.2million release clause in his contract that can only be activated by Premier League clubs, which understandably makes him a hugely attractive proposition.
The Whites had previously held high hopes of securing a move for the defender
Leeds had been ready to sanction a deal for Tanganga, subject to approval from the player [Express Sport], but now their pursuit has been dealt a major blow.
The centre back’s current preference is to explore the possibility of a move to Europe, with both Germany and France on his radar, according to Alan Nixon (15 June).
Leeds’ pursuit of Jaka Bijol is now even more important
With Tanganga seemingly no longer an option for the Whites, their pursuit of Jaka Bijol has suddenly become even more important.
Farke knows that he needs to add to his defensive ranks, and with the West Yorkshire outfit seemingly set to miss out on Tanganga, they simply must ensure they get a deal to sign Bijol over the line.

The need for the Elland Road side to operate with urgency has increased with the latest development that Newcastle are also interested in Bijol [Sky Sports].
Several new additions will be needed if Leeds are to have a chance of beating the drop, and they won’t want to lose out on two of their important targets this early into the window.
