Jack Harrison makes point to Daniel Farke loud and clear with social media post
Jack Harrison has become accustomed to being a back-up player for Leeds United since returning from his Everton loan spell.
Harrison’s return to Leeds was met by boos from supporters in the summer after two seasons on loan at Goodison Park.
There has even been a suggestion that Leeds could sanction Harrison’s Elland Road exit when the transfer window reopens in January.
Harrison has featured six times in the Premier League so far this season, but each of those appearances have come via the substitutes’ bench.
However, the Englishman’s social media activity shows he is certainly now ready to make an impact when club action resumes.

Jack Harrison builds up fitness in Marbella training camp
There is no question that Harrison can play a big part in Leeds’ Premier League campaign if Daniel Farke is ready to turn to him from the start.
Harrison contributed to 37 goals for Leeds across three seasons last time around in the Premier League, which is a more-than-credible return.
Those goals and assists may have dried up in two seasons with Everton, but Harrison proved he is a reliable presence in the final third.
- 2020-21: Eight goals & Eight assists
- 2021-22: Eight goals & One assist
- 2022-23: Five goals & Seven assists
And judging by images posted on his personal Instagram page on Friday, the 28-year-old is certainly not messing around when it comes to being in peak physical shape.
Harrison posted multiple snaps from a warm-weather camp in Marbella, where has seemingly hired a personal trainer to work closely with him.
It is telling that Harrison used professional photos taken from the training camp to show to his 194,000 followers.
Farke may not be one of those followers, but there is no doubt this is a ploy to make the German sit up and take notice.
Who could Harrison replace in Leeds starting XI?
There is one obvious contender for Harrison to replace in the Leeds XI against Burnley next weekend, and that is Brenden Aaronson.

Aaronson continues to frustrate with his performances, having failed to score or assist in 399 minutes on the field this term.
United States international Aaronson offers Leeds different qualities, of course, such as his defensive work, but it may just be time for Harrison to be given a run in the side.
At a time when others not on international duty may perhaps be going through the motions, Harrison is doing anything but and may be rewarded.
