Jack Harrison is finally finished at Elland Road as Leeds eye up Celtic transfer in January
Leeds United are lining up a move for Celtic star Sebastian Tounekti in the January transfer window.
The Whites are currently sitting precariously above the relegation zone in the Premier League, and they will be desperate to add further quality to their squad this winter.
Leeds are chasing Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Garcia with a view to making a move, but there are plenty of targets being explored by the West Yorkshire outfit ahead of the window.
Daniel Farke needs reinforcements for his group, but that could be about to have a major impact on Jack Harrison.

Sebastian Tounekti to replace Jack Harrison at Elland Road
Leeds are closely monitoring Tounekti ahead of the January window, as his early performances for Celtic have already caught the eye south of the border.
The winger only joined the Bhoys from Hammarby on deadline day, but he has made a swift adaptation to British football, and that could see him earn a Premier League move this winter.
- Harrison has started just one league game for Leeds so far in 2025-26
- He notched 12 league goal contributions when they were relegated back in 2022-23
- His contract in LS11 doesn’t expire until the summer of 2028
The Tunisian has two goals for Celtic from his opening 11 appearances in all competitions this term, and that appears to have been enough to convince the Whites that he is a player who is capable of making the jump to the English top flight.
However, if the Elland Road side get their way and secure Tounekti’s signature, it will surely be the final nail in the coffin for Jack Harrison in LS11.
The Englishman is not a popular figure among the fanbase, and he has been little more than a bit-part player for Farke since his return from his loan spell with Everton in the summer.

Leeds are blessed with plenty of quality options in the wide areas, so if Tounekti were to join their ranks in the coming months, they would surely need to move someone on, and Harrison would be the obvious candidate.
Why is Jack Harrison hated at Leeds?
Leeds fans’ hatred of Harrison stems from his decision to jump ship and join Everton on loan after the Whites were relegated to the Championship in 2023.
Several of his teammates from that squad stuck around to try and help drag the club back into the top-flight, but instead the wideman thought that he was above playing in the second tier, and spent two consecutive campaigns on Merseyside.
Harrison was booed by the Leeds faithful on his return to action for his parent club against Manchester United at the start of pre-season, and the relationship between him and the fans appears to be beyond repair.
He has previously shown an unwillingness to fight for the club, and with that in mind, it is surely best for Leeds to try and move him on in January if they get the chance.
