Jack Harrison could do something for the first time in 846 days after latest Leeds update
Jack Harrison could be handed a golden chance for Leeds United on Saturday.
Leeds travel to face Wolves on 20 September, knowing just how big a win would be when it comes to subduing some of the concerns that have emerged after four games.
Daniel Farke’s side have looked toothless in front of goal, and that is showcased by the fact they have only scored one goal this season, and that was from the penalty spot.
Not only will Saturday’s clash with Wolves at Molineux give them the chance to improve that, but it could also mean that Harrison does something he has not done since 2023 after the latest update from Elland Road.

Daniel Farke could start Jack Harrison vs Wolves
Many assumed Harrison would leave Leeds in the summer, though, for one reason or another, he stayed at Elland Road and has been a regular member of the matchday squad since.
However, Farke has confirmed that Dan James and Willy Gnonto are injury doubts for the Wolves game, and he could be forced into handing Harrison a start on the right wing.
If so, it would be his first league start for Leeds since May 2023, or 846 days ago on Saturday to be precise, when he featured in a 4-1 defeat against Tottenham, which saw the Whites relegated.
It would be a big drop in quality if that were to be the case, but after Brenden Aaronson failed to impress there against Fulham, it is the next best thing.
The 28-year-old has played just 64 minutes of football so far this season, and would absolutely need to make an immediate impression.

Jack Harrison has thrived vs Wolves in the past
Throughout his career, Harrison has faced Wolves on nine occasions and has come out victorious four times.
Harrison’s record vs Wolves
- Nine games
- Four wins
- Two draws
- Three losses
- Three goals
- One assist
The Englishman has scored three goals in that time and registered an assist, and that is exactly what Leeds will need him to do if he starts on Saturday.
Harrison opened the scoring for Everton last time out against Wolves, and if the Whites are to get a much-needed result against them this weekend, a similar start will be needed.
