Habib Diarra is wanted by Leeds United this summer as Daniel Farke prepares his squad for the Premier League.
The midfielder had an impressive season at Strasbourg, where he helped the French side achieve European football.
The 21-year-old continued that form on the international stage, scoring as Senegal became the first African side to beat England on Tuesday.
Leeds have reportedly put in an offer for Diarra as they look to strengthen their midfield, and they may have just received their biggest boost yet.

Strasbourg are moving early with their plans, and may have already found their replacement for Diarra, should he move away over the next couple of months.
According to Fabrizio Romano (11 June), the French side has agreed on a deal to sign 21-year-old midfielder Pape Demba Diop from Zulte Waregem.

This is no doubt a massive boost for Daniel Farke in his hunt to sign Diarra.
BlueCo are known for their project purchases, signing younger players who can work their way up the ownership ladder, possibly ending up at Chelsea at the end of that road.
For now, Demba Diop could be given the perfect platform, with Diarra possibly leaving a huge gap to fill.
Diarra proved against England what an asset he can be for Leeds
Amid the transfer rumours, Diarra starred against England on Tuesday as Senegal beat Thomas Tuchel’s side at the City Ground.
The midfielder put the African side 2-1 up, before they added a third in the final seconds.
The match showcased proved that Diarra can perform against some of the best players in the world, making his possible jump to the Premier League mouthwatering for Leeds fans.
Any lingering doubts about the transfer from Leeds have now surely disappeared, and the Yorkshire club now has to go all out to ensure he is brought to Elland Road.
