Georginio Rutter wows Leeds United fans in Man of the Match display v Watford
Leeds United continued their strong run under Daniel Farke as they eased past Watford 3-0 on Saturday (23 September).
The hugely impressive team performance saw the Whites climb to sixth place in the Championship table, with 13 points from their eight matches.
There were, however, plenty of top individual performances on display, one of which was young attacker Georginio Rutter.

As per the official Leeds Twitter account (24 September), the forward was voted as the Man of the Match against the Hornets.
His figures certainly warrant the honuor, with Rutter making three key passes throughout his 90 minutes on the pitch, as well as winning 11 duels and assisting the third goal of the day, which came from substitute Jaidon Anthony.
Impressively, it is not the attacker’s first Man of the Match honour of the season, with Rutter also clinching the award in the club’s 3-0 win against Millwall last Sunday (17 September).
Rutter and Leeds supporters will be over the moon with the player’s recent form, particularly given his well-documented struggles in his early stages at Elland Road.
The attacker took plenty of the blame in the top-flight last season, even though the majority of the Whites players were massively underperforming.
Now, however, he looks like a brand new player, and fans of the club are definitely noticing a real change in their record signing.
They will, of course, be desperate for his fine form to continue in the months to come as Farke’s men chase immediate promotion back to the Premier League.
In other Leeds United news, Willy Gnonto has sent a one-word message to a Whites teammate after their 3-0 win against Watford.
