Frank Lampard could be about to spark another Leeds meltdown as news emerges out of Coventry
Coventry City manager Frank Lampard isn’t the most popular among the Leeds United supporters.
The Chelsea icon’s standing among supporters in LS11 declined after the Spygate saga.
Coventry are leading the Championship table with 25 points and are currently seen as favourites to win automatic promotion.
If the Whites manage to stay in the Premier League and Lampard leads the West Midlands club to the English top flight, a tense matchup would undoubtedly be on offer, but things may get even spicier.

Patrick Bamford to Coventry City on cards after Leeds United exit
Patrick Bamford has been seen at Coventry’s training ground, according to Mike McGrath.
The Telegraph journalist revealed on 24 October that the 32-year-old was spotted in the West Midlands as he continues to look for a new club after leaving Elland Road.
Daniel Farke didn’t have Bamford in his plans for the Premier League, and it made sense for both parties to reach a mutual agreement on his future.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin moved to Elland Road on a free transfer as a replacement for the former Chelsea ace, but he may soon return to West Yorkshire.
Frank Lampard return to Elland Road possible
Farke’s team made history in the Championship last season, winning the title with 100 points.
Leeds will now hope to stay in the Premier League, with the team outside the relegation zone as things stand.
Bamford signed for the Whites in 2018 and subsequently scored 17 goals in his first Premier League season in the English top flight under Marcelo Bielsa, however, consistent fitness issues marred the centre-forward’s development, and he was never truly able to get back to his best in LS11.

Lampard was the Derby County manager as Leeds lost 4-3 on aggregate to Derby County in the play-off semi-final in 2019, and the former Chelsea midfielder subsequently mocked the West Yorkshire outfit.
Bamford has been linked with the likes of Getafe, and having been part of the side that lost to the Rams all those years back, supporters in LS11 could potentially go into meltdown if he moves to Coventry.
