Ethan Ampadu succession plan ready as Leeds United prepare for massive exit
Ethan Ampadu has shown Champions League pedigree at Leeds United.
The midfielder has been one of the best in his position in the Premier League this season, averaging a Sofascore rating of 7.05 after 22 appearances.
Ampadu’s sale may be on the cards at Elland Road as the Whites grapple with Profitability and Sustainability Rules in the coming months.
49ers Enterprises should reinforce Daniel Farke’s squad in the summer if they avoid relegation, but a significant investment may require major outgoings from the West Yorkshire outfit.

Yacine Titraoui to replace Ethan Ampadu at Leeds United
Leeds have expressed a strong interest in Charleroi midfielder Yacine Titraoui as plans are being put in place.
The Algeria international is likely working on a move to England after joining an agency that specialises in transfers to the Premier League.
It looks like the Whites are looking for Ampadu’s successor ahead of the summer transfer window, and the 22-year-old is firmly on their radar.
The Wales international will surely have ambitions of playing European football in the prime of his career, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him push for an exit from Elland Road if a big team does come in with a big transfer offer.
Ampadu’s current contract expires in June 2027, and unless he signs a new deal at the West Yorkshire outfit, it would make sense for them to sell him at the end of the season.
Daniel Farke can afford Ethan Ampadu sale after what’s happened at Elland Road
Farke has almost secured Premier League survival for Leeds after an impressive run of form has seen them lose just two of their last 12 games.
The Whites made some astute additions to their squad last summer, with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anton Stach shining.
The German midfielder has particularly been a key player in the West Yorkshire outfit’s engine room, with Farke also able to call upon Ilia Gruev, Ao Tanaka and Sean Longstaff.
It’s evident that the Peacocks have enough quality in depth to afford Ampadu’s sale and let someone like Titraoui take his time if he does move to the Premier League.
