Daniel Farke’s sack fate looks all but sealed as Leeds United beat Chelsea
The 49ers may have only delayed their impending decision to sack Daniel Farke after Leeds United’s win against Chelsea.
Elland Road rejoiced as Leeds beat Chelsea 3-1 in one of the biggest upsets of the Premier League so far this season – if not the biggest.
Chelsea were the heavy favourites over Leeds coming into the clash, but Enzo Maresca’s side clearly overlooked the challenge of the Whites.
Even more importantly, Farke has been under increasing pressure to get the Whites out of the relegation zone, but the win may have only avoided the inevitable for a couple more days.

Daniel Farke could still be sacked if Leeds lose to Liverpool
Make no mistake about it, Leeds just took down title-chasers, and Farke deserves full credit for the win.
He decided to change from his usual 4-3-3 formation to a 5-3-2 in a bold move that paid off tenfold.
However, it might be too little too late for the German head coach.

Despite the fantastic result, it’s been suggested that Chelsea and Liverpool could be Farke’s last matches in charge of Leeds, with it almost a certainty that he would have been sacked if the Whites had lost both games.
With Liverpool next, there’s still a high probability that the 49ers could yet axe Farke this week.
Lately, all signs have indicated that the relationship between the 49-year-old and Paraag Marathe and Co. has effectively run its course.
The 49ers are waiting to pull the trigger on Farke
There has been major controversy over Leeds’ summer spending and the personnel that Farke allegedly wanted to bring in.
The 49ers have done a U-turn on Farke in regards to signings made a couple of months ago, as they initially agreed to his preferences of signing physical players.
However, it’s now being reported that the hierarchy at Leeds aren’t particularly happy with who Farke brought to the club.
Farke has admitted that there aren’t concrete plans for January, even though it’s painfully clear that more reinforcements are needed at LS11.
It all just makes for a sticky situation that will only get worse the longer it drags on, and the 49ers need to come out and tell supporters whether they are backing him or not.
