Daniel Farke will be fearful of Leeds trip to Aston Villa – here’s why
Leeds United have been much-improved over the last few months, but Daniel Farke must address their issues away from home.
Leeds make the trip to Villa Park to face Unai Emery’s side this Saturday, but they will be up against it in the Midlands.
At Elland Road, the Whites have regularly competed against and taken points off the top teams, getting results against Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United since the start of December.
It has been a different story on their travels however, with only Burnley and Wolves having a worse away record than Farke’s side this season.

Leeds on Premier League winless run away from home
At Elland Road, Leeds have only lost one of their last seven Premier League games, winning four and drawing two in that time.
However, away from home, Farke’s side are now on a 10-game winless run in the top-flight, stretching back to the middle of September.
The last time that Leeds won on their travels was against bottom-side Wolves, and that is their only away victory this season.

Since picking up three points at Molineux, the West Yorkshire side had been beaten by Burnley, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle United away from Elland Road.
They have managed five draws on their travels though, against Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Sunderland and Brentford, all of which have come since the middle of December.

Daniel Farke will be cautious about Aston Villa clash
With away wins over Derby County and Birmingham City in the FA Cup, Leeds have proved that they have the ability get a result away from Elland Road.
However, a trip to Villa Park presents a whole different challenge, and it is one that Farke will be acutely aware of.
In the reverse fixture at the end of November, Villa beat Leeds 2-1, a second-half Morgan Rogers double cancelling out Lukas Nmecha’s early strike.
Emery’s side were in the middle of an outstanding run at that point, but might be slightly more vulnerable on Saturday, given their recent form.
Leeds will have to be at the top of their game to get anything out of the contest though, let alone come away with all three points.
