Daniel Farke to look over his shoulder at Leeds United after what Mauricio Pochettino just said
Leeds United fans may soon see Mauricio Pochettino replace Daniel Farke in the Premier League.
Brighton beat Farke’s team on 1 November, leaving the Whites 16th in the league table after the 3-0 loss.
With the Premier League relegation battle heating up at Elland Road, Opta’s supercomputer predicts the West Yorkshire outfit can narrowly avoid the drop.
While the German manager will be delighted to avoid an immediate return to the Championship, there could potentially still be questions about his future next summer.

Leeds United to tempt Mauricio Pochettino back to Premier League
Pochettino has revealed he’s open to managing a team in the English top flight after the 2026 World Cup.
The Argentine manager took charge of the USMNT in 2024 and hopes to lead them in Canada, Mexico and the USA next summer.
Pochettino has been linked with a move to Elland Road, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see 49ers Enterprises try to tempt him sooner rather than later.
There were speculations around Farke’s future in LS11 despite winning the Championship title, and those concerns haven’t abated this season.
Speaking about a possible return to the Premier League on talkSPORT on 6 November, the former Tottenham manager said: “Maybe it’s possible, yes. Maybe my challenge in the future, of course, after the World Cup and focusing on the USA national team, is to come back to the Premier League.”
Pochettino won the Ligue 1 title with Paris Saint-Germain in 2022, and while the 53-year-old’s stock has gone down in recent years, he may be able to revive his reputation at Elland Road.

Paraag Marathe can’t be trusted at Elland Road
Paraag Marathe was involved in the recent managerial saga at Rangers, with Russell Martin failing miserably and the search for his replacement taking too long.
Leeds fans will undoubtedly be concerned about the American owners choosing the right person for the job if they let Farke go.

The German manager has made a change to his system this season, but the Whites have had mixed results.
Inconsistency has been a massive issue for supporters during Farke’s time in LS11, but only time will tell whether Pochettino is someone who will be brought in as a replacement.
