Daniel Farke ‘to be sacked at Leeds’ after shocking Premier League reveal
Daniel Farke is fixated on getting Leeds United back in the Premier League, though questions will emerge as to whether he should be afforded the opportunity to manage them in the top flight.
Leeds United took a gargantuan step towards promotion on Tuesday night, with a 1-0 win against Middlesbrough.
With both Burkley and Sheffield United dropping points, the latter losing, Leeds reclaimed their spot at the summit of the Championship with five games to go.
Throughout that period, Farke has come in for a lot of criticism, and there may be a genuine case to sack the German even if he achieved promotion.

Leeds will have a decision to make on Farke at the end of the season
If Leeds somehow don’t get promoted from this season, Farke will undoubtedly face the sack at the end of the season, though that could still happen even if they do.
After last seasons failure, Leeds fans will be aware of the fratilies their side have demonstrated under the German, and after Ivan Juric’s sacking at Southampton, The Sun put together a graphic showing the worst managers in the history of the Premier League.
In at number nine? Daniel Farke.
Championship | Played | GD | Points |
1. Leeds United | 41 | +52 | 85 |
2. Burnley | 41 | +43 | 85 |
3. Sheffield United | 41 | +25 | 83 |
The German has won just 12.2 per cent of his Premier League matches, with a 0.53 points per game ratio.
Names such as Russell Martin and Slavisa Jokanovic also feature in the list, though none have had as much experience in the top flight as Farke, potentially making his record look even worse.
If Leeds have ambitions of staying up next season, they need to have a serious debate as to whether Farke will be the man to achieve that with them.

Leeds need to achieve promotion first
Until promotion is confirmed, any decision to be made in the summer is largely irrelevant.
However, when that day arrives, Leeds have a lot of work to do to prepare for life back in the Premier League, and that stands for recruitment purposes and managerial ones.
Five games remain for the Whites to seal promotion, and they may need to pick up maximum points to achieve that.
