Daniel Farke ‘set for sack’ at Leeds United after huge update
Daniel Farke’s time as Leeds United manager could be coming to an end after a major hint on Monday night.
The Whites took on Bristol City at Elland Road on 28 April with Farke’s side aiming to secure three points in their quest to win the Championship.
The hosts won the game 4-0 with goals from Ao Tanaka, Wilfried Gnonto and two from Largie Ramazani.

Paraag Marathe backs out of Sky Sports interview amid mounting speculation on Farke’s future
Paraag Marathe, the Leeds United chairman, was supposed to conduct an interview with Sky Sports, perhaps to discuss promotion and their return to the Premier League.
However, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he backed out of it amid speculation on Farke’s future.
Leeds United stats | Daniel Farke |
Games in charge | 103 |
Wins | 60 |
Draws | 24 |
Losses | 19 |
Points | 204 |
While the reason wasn’t specified, the timing of it seemed pretty strange as he was in attendance at Elland Road.
He was spotted sitting next to Angus Kinnear and even greeted a few fans before kick-off on Monday night.

Leeds United may be set to sack Farke at the end of the season
Marathe knows that Sky Sports would almost certainly ask him about Farke and what the plans are for next season.
Usually, managers who promote teams end up seeing the start of the following campaign, but that might not be the case at Leeds.
Thus far, the hierarchy have said nothing with regards to speculation, as they could have easily come out and quashed the reports.
Had Marathe done the Sky Sports interview and said that the German will be the manager next season, it would have ended all speculation on his future.
Surely, as owners, they would not want things to be in doubt if they were themselves sure about Farke being in charge next season.
They do appear to be considering other options and three managers have been touted for the job in the last 24 hours.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Farke but it’s hard to rule out a parting of ways, at this stage.
