‘Daniel Farke sack imminent’ after what Leeds boss was seen doing after title win

Daniel Farke’s exit from Leeds United appears to be imminent despite their title-clinching win against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

In typical Leeds fashion, the Whites left it remarkably late to seal the Championship title on Saturday afternoon, with Manor Solomon scoring a stoppage-time goal in a 2-1 win away to Plymouth.

Promotion was always the desired outcome, but Leeds managed to go one step further and win the division, with a remarkable 100 points.

Talk about Farke being sacked has been relentless over the last few weeks, and Leeds fans are already preparing for his departure after what the German was seen doing at the end of the game.

Farke spotted alone after Leeds secure Championship title

Whether Farke gets sacked or not, Leeds fans will undoubtedly be grateful for his contributions throughout the season, despite some erratic decisions.

However, as pointed out by many Whites supporters after the win, something seemed off about the German’s body language at Home Park, and as Leeds were away celebrating their huge win, Farke was sitting tentatively in the dugout, all by himself.

Many Leeds fans on X believe that he has already been told of his fate, and if so, it would be fair to expect an official announcement soon to clarify the situation.

While many would label it as harsh to sack Farke, his record in the Premier League previously is said to have been the main reason behind the rumours initially, and if so, there is a case to be made.

Leeds have no time to waste as Premier League preparations begin

First and foremost, the future of Farke needs to be clarified immediately, and the longer it goes on, the less likely it seems that he will be staying in charge next season.

Only then will Leeds be able to make a real start to their preparation for life back in the Premier League.

This summer will be a huge one for Leeds, and it is imperative that they get every big decision right over the next few weeks.
