Daniel Farke sack could help create Premier League history as Leeds United face brutal run
Leeds United are set to face five of last season’s Premier League top seven in their next five fixtures, in what could be a deciding month for Daniel Farke’s job.
Brighton smashed Leeds 3-0 on Saturday, making it just one win from the Whites’ last five Premier League games.
Farke‘s side have looked competitive this season but sit just four points outside of the relegation zone, with West Ham’s victory over Newcastle United on Sunday providing cause for concern.
Leeds will play Nottingham Forest on Sunday at the City Ground, in the first of what is set to be a crunch set of difficult fixtures.
Nottingham Forest are the favourites to beat Leeds, after recently making their second sacking of the season and hiring Sean Dyche.

Leeds United face horrific five-game run
Ange Postecoglou was sacked by Nottingham Forest last month, after the Australian had failed to win a single game in his brief spell in charge.
Dyche was victorious over FC Porto in his first game, but has failed to win either of the two since.
Still, Nottingham Forest finished seventh in the Premier League last season and will provide a difficult test for Leeds.
| Leeds United – fixtures | Date |
| Nottingham Forest (A) | 9 Nov |
| Aston Villa (H) | 23 Nov |
| Manchester City (A) | 29 Nov |
| Chelsea (H) | 3 Dec |
| Liverpool (H) | 6 Dec |
After that, however, the challenges become more and more daunting. The Whites will host Aston Villa at Elland Road, with Unai Emery’s side having won four of their last five league matches.
Then, a trip to Premier League title challengers Manchester City, who currently sit second in the table.

Finally, Leeds will face Chelsea and Liverpool within three days of each other at Elland Road, with both sides looking to finish in and around the top four this season.
Premier League on course for record sacking season
After Wolves fired Vitor Pereira last week, Premier League clubs have already made four managerial changes this season.
The record for one season is 14, which took place over the course of the 2022-23 season.
Should the departures continue at this rate, however, Premier League clubs could soar past that figure to 16 sackings.
Farke may well find himself among that statistic in the coming weeks, with Leeds set to face huge pressure to take action should the next five games end in defeat.
