Daniel Farke sack could have severe repercussions at Leeds that fans won’t like
These next two weeks are going to paint a clear picture as to where the future lies for Daniel Farke.
Leeds are going nowhere meaningful under Farke this season, and after 11 games, that couldn’t be any clearer.
The German has just nine wins in the Premier League; not at Leeds, but throughout his entire managerial career in the top flight.
There is every chance that the 49ers Enterprises could pull the trigger in the coming days, and if they do, it could have some unwanted side effects at Elland Road.

Leeds could be stripped of their identity
Leeds are club built on loyalty and passion, with a fanbase that just wants to see the Whites thrive at the very top level.
After years of suffering, they have the chance of returning to that status, though that will almost certainly require the sacking of Farke.
However, the 49ers Enterprises’ involvement in the NFL may be an indication of what Leeds could become in the future, and with them back in the Premier League, the opportunity is even greater.
NFL is all about data, and at the San Francisco 49ers, Leeds’ owners have installed a system whereby the head coach is seen as a function of said system, as opposed to the driving force; the same could happen at Elland Road.

Teams in the NFL have become a franchise as opposed to a club, and that transition has already been seen across European football with the Red Bull ownership in particular.
Right now, while things may be poor on the pitch, Leeds still have their true identity, but the sacking of Farke could open up the door for the 49ers to change that.
49ers can show true ambition in coming weeks
Farke’s sacking will not be an acceptance of a mistake, like many knew it was in the summer when Paraag Marathe backed the German.
Instead, it will likely be a shift in strategy by the 49ers to change the mould at Elland Road, and that may not be a good thing.
Leeds have always been a club built on emotion and support from the crowds week in and week out, and it must remain that way, as opposed to something defined by a line of zeros and ones on a spreadsheet.
The 49ers have a key decision to make, but it is crucial that they make it for the good of the club, as opposed to their project.
