Daniel Farke ‘knows Leeds United future’ as Elland Road plans revealed

Daniel Farke celebrated Premier League promotion with his Leeds United players at Elland Road after beating Bristol City on Monday.

The Whites hosted Liam Manning’s team in the penultimate game of the Championship this season, scoring four goals against them.

Ao Tanaka opened the scoring at Elland Road in the 20th minute, before Willy Gnonto found the back of the net, and Largie Ramazani’s late brace sealed the tie.

Farke’s future in West Yorkshire is up in the air after winning automatic promotion to the English top flight, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.

Leeds United to end two-year exile from Premier League

The Whites had already sealed their return to the Premier League the day they beat Stoke City 6-0, as Sheffield United lost to Burnley hours later.

While the Peacocks have arguably achieved the goal they’d set out for at the start of the campaign, they still have the Championship title to play for.

Farke’s team have a trophy up for grabs in the final game of the season, with Home Park hosting them on 3 May.

Burnley could be set for heartbreak at the end of the season, as they sit level on points with the West Yorkshire outfit but trail on goal difference.

Elland Road stay expected as Farke plans for Premier League survival

Farke deserves to stay at Elland Road beyond the current campaign after helping the Whites achieve promotion.

The German manager’s record with Norwich City in the top flight is what the West Yorkshire outfit’s hierarchy seems to be worried about.

While 49ers Enterprises need to do their due diligence before the start of next season, the 48-year-old head coach should be backed next summer.

It looks like Farke expects to stay at Leeds despite speculation around his future, with plans already being made for the upcoming campaign.

The German manager revealed he’s already decided on player contracts and recruitments for the upcoming transfer window, hinting at a potential stay.

Speaking to the media via Beren Cross on X (28 April), the 48-year-old head coach said: “There are some difficult and tough decisions to take to achieve this [survival]. We have to decide about contracts, who we want to bring in, who will be part of this. I already have a plan in my head to achieve this.”

It’s encouraging to see that Farke is apparently confident about his prospects at Elland Road, which is imperative for the upcoming campaign.

Despite the noise surrounding the German manager, the pressure doesn’t seem to have affected the Whites’ performance, as was evident against Bristol.

The 48-year-old head coach has demonstrated sufficient managerial acumen throughout the season to warrant a chance to lead the West Yorkshire outfit in the Premier League.

While Farke appears to know what the future holds for him, the situation in LS11 remains one to keep an eye on.
