Daniel Farke faces major Largie Ramazani problem after what he’s just done away from Leeds United

Largie Ramazani is currently midway through a season-long loan spell away from Leeds United.

The winger received a limited amount of football during his side’s promotion from the Championship last season, and gametime was likely to be even harder to come by for him in the top flight.

In the end, Leeds agreed for Ramazani to join Valencia for the duration of the campaign, as they slowly look to transition away from the group that secured their return to the Premier League.

The Belgian hasn’t been part of the Whites’ matchday squad since the opening game at Everton, but Daniel Farke and Co. now look set to face a major problem after the latest development from Spain.

Largie Ramazani is out of action for a month due to injury

Ramazani’s time away from Leeds has been far from ideal in recent weeks, as he has played just 85 minutes of football in La Liga so far.

The former Almeria man is yet to start a game for his loan club, and has had little impact since he notched an assist during his debut against Getafe at the end of August.

His time away from Elland Road has now been dealt a serious blow, with the news that he is set to be out for more than a month, according to El Desmarque.

Ramazani sustained the quadricep injury during a training session with his teammates and is expected to miss seven games for Valencia in all competitions.

He is already out of favour in the eyes of his manager Carlos Corberan, and a lengthy injury lay-off certainly won’t help his cause when it comes to fighting for his place in the team.

The wideman could easily find himself sliding down the pecking order at the Mestalla Stadium in the coming weeks, and he will be unable to do anything about it.

Leeds may struggle to sell Largie Ramazani if this continues

Ramazani’s struggles are certainly not helping Leeds at the moment.

The West Yorkshire outfit will surely have hopes of selling him at the end of the season, whether that be to Valencia or elsewhere, and his lack of football and current injury issues are not at all conducive to that.

Farke has obviously decided that he is not a strong enough option if they want to survive in the Premier League, so his fate has effectively already been sealed.

However, the last thing that anyone at Elland Road will want is to be stuck with a player who they cannot get off their books when his loan spell ends next summer.

That is exactly what could be facing them with Ramazani, and it is certainly an unwelcome problem for Farke and Co.
