Daniel Farke could still be hours from Leeds sack after what was said on Sky Sports

Daniel Farke will surely be delighted as Leeds United fight back to beat Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Ellan Road served up a classic against Arne Slot’s team, with the Whites coming back twice to secure a point in LS11.

49ers Enterprises have been looking for Farke’s replacement in recent weeks, but the West Yorkshire outfit have shown their qualities with the win over Chelsea and the 3-3 draw with the Reds.

Despite the recent performances, the German manager may still be looking over his shoulder, as the Peacocks look to avoid Premier League relegation.

Tim Sherwood was adamant about Daniel Farke sack at Leeds United

Tim Sherwood predicted Farke to get sacked at Leeds before the start of January.

In fact, the Englishman was confident that the German manager would be out of Elland Road “within the next three games”, with the Liverpool match being the third.

While results have been impressive in LS11 in the last two fixtures, the 49-year-old head coach may still be hours away from getting the sack in West Yorkshire.

Speaking on Sky Sports on 29 November, Sherwood said: “No. He will get sacked within the next three games. 100 per cent. I don’t think he should, I think they should keep hold of him because he’s getting the best out of the group he’s got.”

Farke has shown flexibility with his system against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, leading to much better displays from the Whites.

It would be a shame to see the German manager lose his job after what he’s been able to do of late, but the situation will surely be one to keep an eye on.

Daniel Farke replacement may have already been identified at Elland Road

Brandan Rodgers has been linked with replacing Farke, and the former Celtic head coach may be the perfect manager to come in.

Leeds will be getting someone with experience of winning titles in Scotland and England, and the Northern Irishman’s experience at Leicester City will also come in handy.

The former Liverpool manager stabilised the situation at the King Power Stadium and won the FA Cup.

If the West Yorkshire outfit are planning to reinforce the squad in January, then maybe it would be wise to get a new manager now rather than later in the season.
