Crystal Palace to make move for Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville in days as £60m Michael Olise domino falls
Crystal Palace could be set to make their move for Leeds star Crysencio Summerville in the coming days after the first transfer domino fell this week.
The Eagles have a long-standing interest in the Dutch winger [Mirror, 2 June], who hit 21 goals in the Championship in the 2023/24 campaign as the Whites failed to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
But that interest is now likely to be advanced imminently after Michael Olise agreed a move to Bayern Munich [David Ornstein, 21 June], with a £60million deal expected to go through this week.
Palace are now in a position where they need to replace him, and with Brighton having already opened talks for Summerville [Fabrizio Romano, 17 June] they cannot afford to fall further behind in the race for his signature.
Leeds United brace for bids for Crysencio Summerville
Several clubs have made their interest in the winger clear, with Liverpool and Chelsea both among those, so whoever wants to sign him has to deal with the competition.
But with Palace now coming into cash and having a direct need for a wide player with a goal threat and eye for an assist, he will surely become their priority target.

The fee is simple too, with Leeds likely to accept a fee around the £35million mark, which is a fraction of what the south London club are about to receive. It’s the perfect recipe.
The longer they wait to make their move, the more chance they give rival clubs to strike a deal and convince the player to go elsewhere. That means there will surely be contact in the next few days to firm up their interest, so Leeds must be braced for what comes with that.
