Caoimhin Kelleher ‘medical complete’ as Leeds United eye goalkeeper transfer
Leeds United target Caoimhin Kelleher has completed a medical ahead of leaving Liverpool.
Leeds have a remarkable amount of work to do in the summer transfer window, and the signing of a goalkeeper will be high up on their list of priorities.
After Illan Meslier was axed from the starting 11 in favour of a return for Karl Darlow, it seemed evident that he would be replaced as soon as Leeds sealed their spot back in the Premier League.
While the addition of a striker at Elland Road will be crucial, Daniel Farke will be hoping to seal an early deal for a new number one between the sticks as an update now emerges on one target.

Kelleher completes medical with Brentford
Kelleher has made a name for himself as one of the best number twos in the Premier League at Liverpool, though his venture to find first-team football ultimately led to interest from several clubs.
Leeds were linked with the Irishman, but as reported by Fabrizio Romano (2 June), the shot-stopper has completed his medical tests with Brentford after the Bees agreed an £18million deal with Liverpool.

His addition would have been an excellent one for Leeds, and they may be forced to regret not moving for his signing earlier.
Nick Pope has emerged as another goalkeeper target for Leeds, with it almost nailed on that the Whites will have a new ‘keeper for their Premier League campaign.
Meslier may be sold at Elland Road this summer
Meslier is almost certainly not going to have a starting role at Leeds next season. Therefore, questions will emerge as to where the 25-year-old’s future lies.
Given his age, he will still have a relatively high value, and it may be one that Leeds look to take advantage of as they boost their financial position for the transfer window.
Leicester City had previously shown an interest in the Frenchman. However, whether that interest remains is yet to be seen, though there will undoubtedly be suitors to take him this summer.
