Brenden Aaronson axed by Daniel Farke – Leeds predicted XI v Plymouth Argyle
Leeds United head into their final game of the season knowing that they can top of their already successful season by going up as champions.
The Whites are preparing for a long journey as they travel to Plymouth Argyle but, despite already gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League, there is still plenty to play for.
Sitting level on points with Burnley at the top of the table but a comfortable goal difference, Daniel Farke’s men know that a win will gain them the Championship title.
Furthermore, with Argyle hanging on to their Championship position by the skin of their teeth, the boss won’t be thinking about putting his feet up just yet.

Illan Meslier not getting Leeds send-off
Given Leeds have an aggregate score of 10-0 over their last two games, the boss won’t be keen to make too many changes to his squad ahead of this game.
Dropping Illan Meslier proved to be a turning point that saved Leeds’ season when they faced a dip in form.
While it could be seen as a nice gesture to give Meslier a final send-off before an expected departure from Elland Road at the end of the season, the boss wants to win this game and therefore, Karl Darlow is expected to retain his position in the side.
Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu and Junior Firpo are then expected to retain their places in the back line.
This could well be Firpo’s last game at Elland Road, with no deal having been made over his expiring contract at the end of the season.
Ampadu is also expected to attract interest during the transfer window, but it would be surprising to see the Whites entertain any offers for their captain.
Leeds have had to cope without Joe Rothwell, who has missed out through injury and therefore, Ilia Gruev is expected to retain his position alongside Ao Tanaka, who opened the scoring against Bristol City.

Farke finally axes Brenden Aaronson
Manor Solomon is expected to keep his place in the team, lining up alongside Willy Gnonto, who scored his side’s second goal on Monday (28 April).
Largie Ramazani had a big impact when brought on as a substitute, scoring twice for the Whites, which could prompt Farke to drop Brenden Aaronson after a series of disappointing performances.
The 24-year-old is without a goal contribution in six games and with just one shot on target and one big chance missed against the Robins [FotMob], it seems unlikely he is set to find that form again in the last game of the campaign.

The boss can afford to make this change and it does seem that both Gnonto and Ramazani are deserving of the reward.
Joel Piroe was unlucky not to be named in the Championship team of the season, having been the top goal scorer in the league this season.
However, he will be keen to add to his tally on the final day of the campaign and show exactly what he can do in front of goal.
