Brendan Rodgers update to end Daniel Farke speculation at Leeds United
Daniel Farke’s future as Leeds United boss looks to be cemented.
Leeds secured a point in a 1-1 draw away to Brentford on Saturday, with the Whites having picked up five points from their last three games.
It leaves them 17th in the Premier League table, and keeps the Whites at the one point per game average that Farke has constantly stressed the importance of, and rightfully so.
Farke looked set to be sacked prior to the clash against Chelsea that kicked off their current three-game unbeaten run, though those sack rumours may have just been curtailed by the latest update in regard to Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers set to land new job after Celtic exit
Farke’s future at Leeds United has been uncertain since the day promotion was achieved, and while rumours will no doubt emerge again after their next defeat, it seems unlikely that the 49ers will pull the trigger.
The reason for that is that Rodgers, who was said to be a top target for Leeds to replace the German, looks set to land a new job.
talkSPORT reported on Monday that the former Celtic boss is en route to Saudi Arabia, where he will become the new Al Qadsiah manager.
Rodgers left Celtic in October, off the back of a series of bad results, with Hearts currently leading the race for the Scottish Premiership title.

Given the fact that the Northern Irishman was a leading candidate to replace Farke, it seems as though the German has, at the very least, bought himself a few more weeks at Elland Road.

Farke still has one major obstacle to overcome at Leeds
Farke isn’t completely out of the blue yet at Leeds, but their recent run of form has certainly showcased that he can get his side picking up points in games where they may not be expected to.
However, the biggest concern remains their home form, and that has been a constant throughout his time as a Premier League manager.
Not only have the Whites only managed one win on the road this season, but Farke himself has only seen his side, whether that be Leeds or Norwich, win away from home on nine occasions in the Premier League.
Ultimately, it will be their form at Elland Road that determines their fate, but they simply have to improve on their travels.
