Boardroom mutiny on cards at Leeds United as Andrea Radrizzani continues to disappoint 49ers Enterprises

The 49ers Enterprises must be watching on at developments at Leeds United and wondering where everything went so wrong after their investment.

Andrea Radrizzani remains the majority investor at Elland Road, but with an agreement in place for a full takeover, the American consortium will feel like full owners already.

After finishing ninth in the Premier League upon our return, the following two seasons have been covered in relegation doubt with bad decision after bad decision following.

Denise York and her family are behind the 49ers’ wealth, £4.054billion, to be exact, and US banking sources have shared that funds are in place for a takeover to happen [The Times].

Despite it not yet happening though, the influence on the Leeds board has grown, with Paraag Marathe the vice-chairman and Peter Lowy also involved.

Lowy is a lifelong Leeds fan, but his father is a significant investor in the 49ers Enterprises Group with Radrizzani lacking real allies it appears.

The 49ers Enterprise Group see Leeds as a club that could eventually be worth up to £1billion, but it looks as though Radrizzani is the one stopping that from happening.

His terrible decisions are just mounting by the minute, with the now-sacked Victor Orta certainly not helping that over the years in West Yorkshire.

Sacking Marcelo Bielsa only to be followed by Jesse Marsch and Javi Gracia this season, has led to Leeds now being managed by Sam Allardyce, something that two years ago looked impossible.

Not many are backing Leeds to stay up in the Premier League this season, something that would see the 49ers takeover and the value of the club crash.

Sources have suggested that if Leeds are relegated, Radrizzani could stick around for another shot at promotion, something that cannot be allowed to happen [The Telegraph].

With Marathe and Lowy seemingly gaining increased pressure alongside the non-existent Massimo Marinelli and Sandro Mencucci, a mutiny could be on the cards.

Marathe and Lowy will have the backing of the 49ers Enterprises, who could look at buying Radrizzani out as quickly as possible, as they must be scratching their heads at what they are seeing.

The time for change is now, and the 49ers hold the key.
