Brenden Aaronson is likely to be replaced by Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

With the Championship season now over and promotion achieved, Leeds United will have already turned their attention towards the summer window, with hopes of making several additions.

Several players have already been linked with a move to Elland Road as Daniel Farke looks to bolster his squad and get it set to fight against relegation.

With that in mind, the Whites will also need to make decisions on the future of several current players, and Aaronson will almost certainly be one of those.

Leeds ready move to sign Ipswich star

Aaronson has come in for a lot of criticism this season, though Farke has consistently picked him as his starting number 10. However, that may change in the summer.

Leeds have been linked with a move for Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich, with a deal of around £25.5million mooted, and if pursued, he would almost certainly be brought into the starting 11.

Hutchinson can operate anywhere in attack, but given the season Dan James has had, and the potential purchase of Manor Solomon, it would make the most sense for him to replace Aaronson in that 10 role.

If that were to happen, Aaronson may look to depart from Elland Road and seek regular top-flight football elsewhere.

Farke needs to be backed in the summer window

With Farke now looking as though he is going to stay at the club, he needs to be backed, otherwise, Leeds will drop straight back down into the Championship.

Farke's record as manager of Leeds United.

The gulf in quality between the two divisions is already massive, and without the necessary investment and planning, it is an almost impossible task to bridge the gap.

Leeds will be in for a busy summer window, and they need to get every decision right, and that goes for signings and departures on the recruitment front.
