49ers to repeat Dominic Calvert-Lewin success at Leeds with new free striker transfer
Dominic Calvert-Lewin might lead Leeds United to Premier League safety after his recent heroics.
The striker scored his eighth Premier League goal in nine games as Daniel Farke’s team suffered late heartbreak against Newcastle United on 7 January.
Calvert-Lewin has been nominated for Premier League December Player of the Month, and he will be a deserved winner if he wins the award.
The Whites signed the 28-year-old as a free agent after his contract at Everton expired, and 49ers Enterprises may have a chance to complete a similar deal in January.
Leeds United should be in for Callum Wilson free transfer
West Ham United are set to terminate Callum Wilson’s contract, according to BBC Sport.
The news outlet reports on 6 January that the Hammers are close to an agreement to release the striker from the remainder of his contract at the London Stadium.
Leeds were in for Wilson in the summer, but he ended up joining the Irons, although the centre-forward has been frustrated with his lack of minutes in East London.
West Ham have signed Pablo and Taty Castellanos in the winter transfer window, and the West Yorkshire outfit now have the opportunity to pounce on Wilson’s signature.

Daniel Farke to sanction one exit for Callum Wilson deal
Joel Piroe is happy to fight for his place at Leeds, with last season’s Championship top goalscorer effectively the third choice number nine right now.
The forward, who has pledged his allegiance to Suriname, has started just twice in the Premier League and has hardly played in recent months.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Farke sanction Piroe’s exit to make way for Wilson, who can bring proven top-flight quality to Elland Road.
It will be interesting to see whether the West Yorkshire outfit will make an attempt to sign the West Ham striker if and when he leaves the London Stadium.
