49ers summer decision justified as Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United team news revealed
Two of Leeds United’s summer targets will miss Saturday’s clash at the City Ground.
Despite Leeds being 10 games into the Premier League campaign, there is still a lot of talk around the decisions that were made in the summer.
Daniel Farke welcomed 10 new players to Elland Road, several of whom have played a key role in the success that the Whites have had this season, and several of whom have barely featured since making the move.
However, several players who were linked with a move to Leeds ended up elsewhere, and two of them are currently playing for Forest.

Nottingham Forest duo set to miss Leeds clash
Leeds were heavily linked with a move to sign Dilane Bakwa in the summer, off the back of his impressive campaign for Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
The Frenchman registered 14 goal contributions in 31 appearances across all competitions, but ended up moving to Nottingham Forest instead.
Since then, Bakwa has shown very little in the Premier League and is currently sidelined with an injury sustained at the end of October.
Douglas Luiz was also linked with Leeds before joining Forest, and like Bakwa, he too is set to miss Saturday’s clash with an injury that could keep him out until December.

Given the wages involved in both deals and transfer fees, both players are looking like expensive mistakes for Forest, and on this occasion, the 49ers can rest assured that, for once, they made the right call with a transfer.
Leeds can’t be neglected in January
One swallow doesn’t make a summer, and one good decision from the 49ers certainly doesn’t excuse the countless number of errors they made.
They can’t be repeated in January, with Leeds in desperate need of reinforcements if they are to steer clear of relegation come the end of the campaign.
A striker is an absolute necessity given the struggles showcased by Dominic Calvert-Lewin this season, and there is also a case to be made for the importance of another wide player, given the lack of depth Farke has at his disposal.
Leeds have a great chance of survival, but mistakes in January could change that.
