The 26-year-old shot-stopper believes he’s good enough to be number one, after paying backup to Alisson at the Reds for several years now.

Having made 10 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside outfit in the current campaign, the Irish goalkeeper is looking for consistent minutes ahead of next summer.
Speaking to Optus Sport (25 May), Kelleher said: “I think I’ve said it before as well, that I feel like I’m good enough to be number one. I feel like I’m good enough to play week in, week out — and that’s what I’m looking to do.”
Farke must push for Kelleher transfer at Elland Road
Farke has undoubtedly lost faith in Meslier, and the German manager should demand the addition of a new goalkeeper in the upcoming transfer window.
The 25-year-old Frenchman made some glaring errors this season and was rightly dropped from the starting lineup.
Now that the Whites have won promotion to the Premier League, it wouldn’t make sense for them to rely on a shot-stopper they didn’t trust in the Championship.
49ers Enterprises shouldn’t miss the opportunity with Kelleher, as he’s seemingly angling for a move away from Liverpool.
The 26-year-old has shown his qualities in recent seasons playing as Alisson’s deputy and would arguably be the number one if it weren’t for the Brazil international.
