49ers ready Leeds United transfer blitz as January update emerges
Kerem Akturkoglu burst onto many clubs’ radars, including Leeds United, when he rocketed a ball past Andre Onana as Galatasaray drew 3-3 with Manchester United in the Champions League.
And it appears that Leeds United are preparing a transfer for the 25-year-old winger and are ready to pay the £12.9million asking price, as per Aksam. And this could be just the start of a plethora of signings during the January transfer window.
While the Whites target a route back to the Premier League, it will not be smooth sailing with this specific transfer as Serie A giants Lazio are also interested in the Turkish international.

History between Leeds and Galatasaray could form a barrier between the two clubs doing business, but the move would be rather promising for the former’s hope of climbing back out of the Championship if it comes to fruition.
Having expressed his desire to play European football, and feeling like his journey at Galatasaray has come to an end, Elland Road could be his next destination following a career full of spells in Turkey.
After 148 appearances, the winger has netted 37 goals and recorded a further 38 assists, as well as becoming a key player for the national team. In addition to Crysencio Summerville and Dan James, Leeds could form the deadliest attack in the Championship, and set themselves up well for life in the top tier.

The former, Summerville, has been gaining interest from the likes of Newcastle United, which may accelerate Daniel Farke’s need for a new winger. But if the Dutchman is to stay at the club during the January transfer window, Akturkoglu is also capable of deploying in Joel Piroe’s position – attacking midfield.
His adaptability and talent make him an absolute bargain, one that Leeds and the 49ers should snap up before a bigger European side beat them to it to start their January blitz.
In other Leeds United news, a mega-rich club have more money to spend than expected are could be set to direct it at Elland Road for a Whites star this month.
