49ers must ‘give Farke what he wants’ at Leeds after new Manor Solomon transfer update

Leeds supporters may have given up hope of signing Manor Solomon.

The Tottenham loanee starred at Elland Road in the Championship last season, notching 10 goals and 12 assists in the promotion campaign.

The Whites have missed out on Igor Paixao, who ended up moving to Marseille and have been left scrambling for a new option on the flanks.

The 49ers could give Daniel Farke exactly what he wants after a new update on the Israel star, who shone in LS11 last time out.

Leeds have route to Solomon return, 49ers must take it

Farke admitted that the Leeds squad was “not ready” for the Premier League, especially when it comes to their attacking options.

However, the 49ers can solve that in the next couple of weeks, and they could bring Solomon back to Yorkshire after a new update.

Fabrizio Romano reported on 13 August that Solomon could leave Tottenham with La Liga and English clubs in the mix for his signature.

Surely, the Peacocks are one of them.

Solomon cannot be the only attacking signing for Leeds

The Whites have recruited brilliantly when it comes to their defence and midfield options, adding the likes of Jaka Bijol, Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach.

However, Lukas Nmecha, who was signed on a free transfer from Wolfsburg, is their only attacking reinforcement so far.

Farke was vocal about the area of the squad lacking, so Marathe and Co need to sort it out before the window slams shut.

Solomon would be a brilliant start to that; he knows the club, the fans love him, and most importantly, Farke knows exactly what he brings to the table.

The Whites also need a striker, as there are still doubts over Joel Piroe’s ability to thrive in the top-flight, and Patrick Bamford is not in Farke’s plans.

Mateo Joseph has already been sent on loan to Mallorca, so Piroe and Nmecha are the only recognised senior strikers for the newly-promoted side.

The 49ers must ensure that Farke’s squad is not lacking quality in a crucial area; otherwise, they will be heavy favourites to get relegated, if they were not already.
