49ers lawyers must ignore £300m claim with Jean-Kevin Augustin close at Leeds United
Leeds United have been relatively on song this season on the pitch but it is their business off it that is going to be picking up in the coming weeks.
Everton are set to find out if they will be punished over Premier League financial regulations, with the Whites one of three clubs threatening legal action if they are.
The Daily Mail reported on 03 October that the clubs have written to Everton’s prospective new owners, 777 Partners with a £300million threat.

Simon Jordan had some bad news for Leeds and the 49ers Enterprises though, admitting there was no chance of that legal push ever being successful.
So, with Jordan raining on the parade, 49ers lawyers may be quickly shifting their attention to yet another upcoming legal case which is much more important.
AP reported on 21 September that Leeds are set to go back to the Court of Arbitration for Sport with another appeal over the wage settlement with Jean-Kevin Augustin.

With better lawyers likely available under the 49ers than the last time under Andrea Radrizzani, there will be hope of keeping the £24.5million in the bank.
Compare that to the Everton legal development, and that is money Leeds don’t have, the Augustin saga will see the club drained if they were ordered to pay that.
All of the eggs must now be put in this basket by the 49ers, with all eyes on CAS in November.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
