49ers ‘have no-brainer Bamford transfer call’ as replacement found at Leeds

Leeds United should sanction Patrick Bamford’s transfer to Wrexham as they’ve already found a replacement at Elland Road.

The England international has been a bit-part player for the Whites this season as Daniel Farke has won automatic Premier League promotion.

Joel Piroe has led the line at Elland Road in the current campaign, leading the goalscoring charts in the Championship.

With the West Yorkshire outfit set to fight for survival in the top flight next season, 49ers Enterprises must arguably oversee a squad overhaul next summer, with Bamford’s exit on the cards.

Bamford should be sold to Wrexham

Wrexham have expressed interest in Bamford ahead of the upcoming transfer window as they establish themselves in the EFL.

The Welsh outfit secured their third consecutive promotion and will be playing in the Championship next season.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s team could potentially do the unthinkable in the upcoming campaign and want help from the West Yorkshire outfit’s striker to do so.

The Whites won’t have to worry about looking for the Englishman’s replacement as they may already have one centre-forward lined up.

Leeds United exit to open door for Jamie Vardy transfer

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is attracting interest from the Peacocks with his contract expiring soon, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reports (2 May) that the 38-year-old forward could move to West Yorkshire as he’s set to leave the Foxes when his contract expires at the end of the season.

It’s been claimed that Wrexham also want to sign Vardy, but the chances of him returning to the Championship are low.

Most importantly, with the Welsh outfit eyeing Bamford, the 31-year-old’s exit could open the doors for the Leicester striker’s move to Elland Road.

Leeds arguably have a no-brainer decision to sanction the ex-Middlesbrough ace’s departure to make room for Vardy.

While the 38-year-old is past his prime, he could potentially provide a lot of Premier League experience at the West Yorkshire outfit, having won the title in 2015.

Bamford’s consistent fitness issues make him an unreliable option for Farke to have going into next season, and it would be prudent for the Peacocks to bolster their attack.

The Whites will hope to avoid immediate relegation from the Premier League in the upcoming campaign, and the 49ers should add more depth to their squad to achieve that goal.
