Leeds United will not be happy with Jack Harrison after recent results at Fiorentina.

The English winger is currently out on loan in Italy, with his deal having a permanent option to buy set at around £6million.

Harrison’s future lies away from Elland Road, with Daniel Farke not having him in his plans for the Whites.

The Englishman’s next club is not yet confirmed, but Fiorentina could be an option due to the loan agreement.

However, Harrison may already have an answer on that chance of a permanent Leeds transfer following Fiorentina’s draw against Parma.

What happened with Jack Harrison for Fiorentina?

Leeds would no doubt have been keeping a close eye on the developments at Fiorentina, with those in LS11 likely hoping Harrison makes the permanent move.

Reports stated Harrison was in a “make or break” scenario in Italy, and his game against Parma for the Florence-based club was going to be an important one.

However, the winger seemingly did not take his chance, as Fiorentina were held to a goalless draw.

While Harrison kept a 94 per cent pass accuracy, his display was far from inspiring in an attacking sense, with just two successful crosses from nine attempted.

According to Viola Nation, the Fiorentina fans did not take kindly to Harrison’s performance against Parma.

They state that the supporters at Artemio Franchi Stadium were “whistling him every time he did something wrong, which ended up being every time he touched the ball until he got subbed off.”

Now all signs may point to his return to Elland Road at the end of the season, with supporters of the Italian club less than impressed.

How many games does Harrison have left to force Fiorentina transfer?

Harrison’s future at Fiorentina is not dead and buried yet, with plenty of games still to go. However, it would take a remarkable shift for the public perception of his permanent move to be accepted.

There are currently 10 games left in the Serie A campaign, with Fiorentina only one point above the relegation zone.

Additionally, the Viola are still in the UEFA Conference League. If Harrison can contribute to their survival and win them a European trophy, then perhaps the fans, the Lilies faithful, will react more kindly.

One thing is for sure: those at Elland Road will be hoping Fiorentina has as much of that success as possible, with Harrison at the centre.
