It's fair to say that the German head coach is getting tired of being asked the same questions, as he pointed to the fact that an update has already recently been shared about contract talks.

There has yet to be a sacking in the Premier League, but Leeds could force the first of the season by beating the Eagles.

That's because of an update from Alan Nixon on his Patreon page, which shares that Sage is under huge pressure at Palace.

Owner Steve Parish's only dilemma is who to replace the 47-year-old with if he decides to axe the head coach before the international break.

There's a good chance that Palace feel an early change before an extended international break is best, as a potential successor would be given a mini pre-season before club football resumes in October.

That said, Leeds will be confident about their chances of winning, with the Whites' current form primed to deliver Sage his fate.

Leeds pride themselves on solid defending, and are hoping to rack up more clean sheets this season.

The additions of James Trafford and Tarik Muharemovic were two steps in the right direction to improve the defence, and the pair already look like upgrades compared to what Farke had last term.

Leeds' backline will be pleased to see Palace's current struggles in front of goal, having missed the joint-second-most big chances in the division, tied with Brighton for 11.

That's an even better stat when considering Palace are the fourth-worst team in the Premier League at creating chances, with a low xG of 5.20.

So long as Leeds are on their game, they should get the win, and that could spell the end for Sage.
