Zigor Aranalde may follow Javi Gracia through the door at Leeds United
Javi Gracia could bring his trusted lieutenant Zigor Aranalde through the door with him at Leeds United as he looks set to become the manager.
According to News and Star [21 February], the former Carlisle United left-back Arnalde, who has been Gracia’s assistant at Watford, Valencia and Al Sadd, could make a return to the Premier League.
The 49-year-old began his coaching career at Albacete in 2011 and has held a total of four assistant roles since then.

New era
Gracia may not have achieved wonders at Watford but he did the bare minimum of keeping them in the Premier League.
The Hornets are known to be notorious in their dealings with head coaches and they sack them for fun after a run of bad games.
At Watford, one cannot really expect too much from their managers and Gracia even guided them to an FA Cup final so he’s certainly overachieved at the club.
He plays an attractive brand of football which is something that the Elland Road faithful will appreciate and hopefully, he gets the right results for the Whites.

His first game may be one of the most important of his Leeds career with a clash against Southampton proving to be a mouth-watering encounter.
With both teams fighting against relegation, it is rightly viewed as a six pointer and the loser is going to be rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
