‘You have to say’ – Harry Redknapp makes big claim after watching Leeds play
Leeds United picked up a lot of new fans when they took their game to Arsenal in the FA Cup clash earlier this week.
Leeds dominated the first half and were unlucky to lose 1-0 to the Premier League giants.
One of their new fans is Harry Redknapp. He said Leeds could have scored four in the first half at the Emirates and he made a claim that Whites fans will love when he added they look on a “different level” to anyone else in the Championship.
Talking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT (Friday, 8am), Redknapp said Leeds will get promoted if they continue to play like they did against Arsenal.
“Leeds could have been 4-0 up against Arsenal in the first half, they were excellent,” Redknapp said.
“When I watched Leeds they look at a different level to any other team in the Championship.
“You have to say that they’re going to get promoted if they’re playing like that.”

The second half was a completely different story after the Arsenal players seemingly got a rocket from new manager Mikel Arteta at half-time.

However, the age-old Leeds problem cropped up again – creating chances and not taking them.
That’s something Leeds are looking to address this January as they aim to bring in a new striker to provide back-up and competition for Patrick Bamford.
