'Wow', 'Unreal' – These Leeds fans blown away by 'sensational' club update
There was a furore over ticket prices in the Championship recently, after Leeds United sent a salty tweet ahead of the game against Reading.
It read, “Reading are the latest club not to sell out their away allocation…” and many fans from rival clubs slammed Leeds for charging too much.
The tickets were £39 and that’s the same as Leeds fans pay in the same stand.
That might put the tickets among the most expensive in the Championship but is it an excuse not to support your team?
And they’re not the most expensive. Tickets for the away game at Blackburn went on sale for Leeds on Monday priced at £40, and Leeds were given a huge 7,700 allocation.
Those on sale (minus the 20% reserved for Gold Members) went in just under an hour, despite the fact that the game is in Sky Sports and on a Friday night.
Now that’s support and plenty of Leeds fans were out in force to crow about it on Twitter…
Incredible,sensational support once again 👏🏼 #LUFC https://t.co/aMFrhy9RZX

Whatever way you look at it the Leeds support is incredible, although all of those who got tickets will be nervously checking the news over the next couple of weeks with the EFL expected to make a further announcement about the Coronavirus.
After Serie A games are going to be held behind closed doors, the French authorities announced that Ligue 1 games would be either held behind closed doors or with 1,000 fans maximum.
Leeds take more than seven times that to Blackburn away on a Friday night.
OFFICIAL: French Sports Minister Roxana Maracineanu announces that until April 15, Ligue 1 matches will either be played behind closed doors or with 1000 spectators. https://t.co/qWAbPkrhDB
