'World-class', 'MOTM' - Many Leeds fans thrilled by player for 'Perfect performance' v Fulham
Leeds United fans have been waxing lyrical about Ben White after the on-loan defender impressed in the 3-0 win against Fulham on Saturday.
White, 22, played a huge role in the defence as Leeds kept their 18th clean sheet of the Championship season.
Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic was kept quiet throughout the entire 90 minutes – other than when he nastily caught White with his elbow – which is a mammoth task against the Championship’s joint-top goalscorer.
According to stats by WyScout, White won 12 of his 15 defensive duels – an 80 per cent success rate that betters his 71.5 per cent ratio for the entire Championship season.
White also completed 11 recoveries, made two clearances, conceded just one foul and made a huge seven interceptions.
It is no surprise at all that Leeds fan are raving about White’s performance on Twitter.

You could have awarded the man of the match to almost any player in white at Elland Road on Saturday but it seems that the on-loan 22-year-old is the pick for most of these supporters.

How amazing would it be if Leeds are able to sign White permanently at the end of the season?
It would be really difficult to get a deal done with a Brighton side that is likely to avoid relegation and interest in the centre-back is bound to be high.
Leeds are just going to find it so difficult to replace him but there’s no doubt that no matter happens in the next transfer window, White will be remembered by fans for eternity as being one of the greatest loanees Elland Road has ever seen.
