Leeds United are in search of their second win of the 2021-22 campaign and will hope to pick all three points when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
The visitors have been flying of recent after three consecutive losses in their opening fixtures, winning four wins in their past five games.
Leeds lost home and away to Wolves last term and injuries could deal a huge blow on their chances of finally picking up victory against the Midland outfit after losing all of their last five meetings.
Ahead of the game, we spoke to Phil Bradley (@wolvesbradder), a Wolves fan since 1981, to gauge the mood amongst the away supporters.
What have you made of Leeds at the start of the season?
Surprising!
After such a good couple of years, it’s been a surprise to see the results so far.
I follow a lot of Leeds fans on here and it seems that injuries are to play for this.
I’m sure it’ll come good, hopefully not tomorrow!
Who will cause you the biggest issues?
I’ll be honest and say I’ve not seen a minute of Leeds this season.
It’s been a mad few months for me and only seen three of our games compared to all of them! But any striker who can run at Conor Coady is going to cause us problems.
What have you made of your start to the season?
Pleasing. Too many games last season, the handbrake was applied before kick-off.
We’ve created a lot of chances in the opening to the season.
Ruben Neves is playing further up the pitch and with more attacking intent and he’s thriving again.
Who should Leeds watch out for?
Adama Traore is still the one to watch. He was involved in all three goals last week at Villa. Can be highly frustrating, but still a game-changer.
Keep an eye out for Hwang Hee-Chan, settling in really well on his loan from RB Leipzig.
Also rapid, but a better finisher than Traore.
Maximilian Kilman. Goes about his business quietly, but has played every minute of the season and will surely be on the verge of an international call-up soon.
Is Bruno Lage likely to make any big changes to the side?
With the size of our squad? There’s not much scope for changes!
Are there any particular weak links in the Wolves side you fear may get exposed?
Coady and Roman Saiss can be the weak link defensively. I criticised them last week, then they went and scored two goals! Run at them and they struggle.
Score prediction/what type of game will we see?
God knows! If you start to click again could be 2-0. If we carry on our recent form then the same score to us.
