Willy Gnonto key for 49ers Enterprises in Leeds United transfer update
Willy Gnonto has been identified as a key figure for Leeds United in the new season by 49ers Enterprises, according to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The news will be welcomed by the Whites supporters who have seen nowhere near enough from the former FC Zurich player, following a disrupted first season at Elland Road.
He impressed last night for Italy U21 as he scored in a 3-2 victory over Switzerland at the Under 21’s European Championships, although no bids have been made for him as of yet.

He is also a talking point at present in West Yorkshire with the report from Graham Smyth detailing the plans for him in the months ahead.
“Back in England, Gnonto has been making more headlines for transfer matters than his Euro 21s performances, with a number of clubs reportedly making plans to prise him away from Elland Road”, he said.
“Everton are among those to have been linked with the 19-year-old but the YEP understands Leeds have not received expressions of interest or bids from elsewhere.
“Likewise, the club insists they have received no bids for centre-back Charlie Cresswell, despite reports to the contrary.
“Gnonto is among those identified as key players for the upcoming Championship season, by incoming owners 49ers Enterprises. The Italian, along with Tyler Adams and Jack Harrison, were always likely to be the subject of transfer speculation but 49ers Enterprises hope to be able to convince them to stay this summer. Max Wober is another viewed as a key player.”

Promise
The youngster struggled for a run of games last season in the tumultuous Premier League campaign but he was never likely to flourish given what was unfolding.
With a new season, comes new optimism and a different landscape.
Leeds will be playing to win, with the aim of a Premier League return despite falling far short last time around.
A switch of mindset and mentality will be required from the team in order to change the fortunes on the pitch and most importantly to eradicate that inevitable feeling of losing that dominated the end to the last campaign.
Gnonto can be one of the players to inspire a fresh start and a different story under the new manager, who will hopefully be confirmed by early next week.
He has plenty to offer, especially in the Championship and the second tier can be the platform to truly launch his career at Elland Road.
In other Leeds news, the club will let this player leave for bids higher than £30million, according to this report.
