Wilfried Zaha set for scan on groin injury, major doubt for Leeds United clash v Crystal Palace
Leeds have been dealt a major boost for their upcoming Premier League clash with Crystal Palace as Wilfried Zaha is likely to miss the game with an injury.
The Ivory Coast international is seen as one of the Eagles’ most influential players, but limped off in tears during their 2-1 win over Fulham on Saturday (1 April) having pulled up with a groin problem.
And now a report by the Daily Mail (2 April) says that the 29-year-old will undergo a scan on Monday (3 April) to determine the extent of his injury, but there are doubts over his fitness and he is likely to miss the Premier League clash at Elland Road.

Leeds will face off against fellow relegation candidates Nottingham Forest on Tuesday (4 April), before another home game against Palace next Sunday (9 April).
Massive
Despite their opposing results this weekend, with Leeds getting battered by Arsenal and Palace stealing a win against Fulham, both teams are still in as much danger of relegation as the other.
Palace are currently four points above Leeds but have played an extra game already, and a win at Elland Road against them would do great things for our position.

Add to that the fact that they are so reliant on Zaha as their best player, it can only be a good thing that he is almost certain to miss the game with his injury.
But we can’t just turn up to the game and expect to beat them because of that, and the fans will have to be at their loudest and best in order to get a result and push the team over the line.
It’s going to be a long, tough end to the season but we have the quality to cause them and the rest of the teams around us plenty of problems if we perform to our capabilities.
In other Leeds news, the club can take advantage of a mass exodus elsewhere should they avoid the drop.
