Weston McKennie agent jets into the United Kingdom to conduct transfer talks with Leeds United

The agent of Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie has jetted into the United Kingdom to conduct talks with Leeds United.

According to Calciomercato [25 January], his agent is in London as he wants to get direct knowledge of the offer made by Andrea Radrizzani.

There is a cash crunch at Juventus and liquidity will arrive if they cash in on the 24-year-old in the January transfer window.

Big moves

Everything now appears to be falling into place as Leeds look to make their third big move of the January transfer window.

After signing Max Wober and Georginio Rutter, the Whites have not stopped and are keen on adding another first-team player before the transfer deadline.

McKennie is a player that knows Jesse Marsch well along with Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson – two of his teammates with the United States national team.

His characteristics suit the Premier League perfectly and seeing familiar faces may just be what he needs to get his career on the right track again.

The language barrier too would’ve been an issue in Italy and here he’ll be more fluent and expressive as it’s English speaking dressing room.

Hopefully, there should not be any further delays and we should see him officially putting pen to paper in the next day or two.

In other Leeds United news, a journalist has shared if Leeds are set for a financial gain if Raphinha quits Barcelona and moves to the Premier League or elsewhere in the future.
