West Ham consider making bid for Leeds United attacker Raphinha
West Ham are reportedly considering making a bid for Leeds United attacker Raphinha this summer after their pursuit of Nayef Aguerd.
According to 90Min, their interest in the Brazilian has not gone away and they could return with a fresh offer in this window.
However, as reported by Sky Sports in May 2022, the Leeds attacker would fancy joining Barcelona due to their Champions League status as well as the fact that they’re the former club of his agent Deco.

Not happening
There’s no chance that Raphinha joins West Ham, either this summer or any time in the coming years.
The comparison between the Hammers and Barcelona is vast and they’re not even in the same boat when it comes to player preferences.
Raphinha wants to play in the Champions League and for one of Europe’s biggest clubs which is Barcelona.
West Ham are not even guaranteed to qualify for Europe every season, let alone play in the biggest club competition in the world.
He knows what’s best for him and if a move to Spain falls through, we will not be surprised to see him at Elland Road beyond this summer.
He’s loved by the fans, likes living in the city and knows that he’ll have the entire team built around him which will only increase his attacking output.
It’s a big decision and one that only the Brazilian can make if Barcelona do match what Leeds are asking for him.
