Wantaway Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto slammed in ‘disrespected’ verdict
Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto needs to show Leeds United “some decency,” according to The Yorkshire Post’s Stuart Rayner.
The 19-year-old is currently training away from the rest of his Whites teammates at Thorp Arch, according to the Daily Mail (16 August).
The publication noted that the attacker is pushing to join Premier League club Everton this summer, with the Toffees making an offer of up to £25million for the player [Sky Sports, 16 August].

Gnonto started and played 82 minutes in the Championship opener against Cardiff City, but has not featured under Daniel Farke in the two matches since.
“Forget professionalism, Gnonto just needs to show Leeds United – the club and a fanbase sick of being disrespected – some decency,” Rayner wrote for The Yorkshire Post.

Unwanted noise
Gnonto is generating plenty of noise at Elland Road, much to the dismay of his manager, who really has had it tough since joining the club.
Farke perhaps knew what he was getting himself into when he took on the vacant role after the Whites were relegated from the Premier League.
The man in the dugout has been forced to oversee the exits of several star players, having also had to deal with various injury issues amid the beginning of the new season.
And now he has been faced with another very difficult task in trying to sort out the future of young Italian Gnonto, who seemingly has his heart set on an Elland Road exit.
The winger would be of great use to Farke this season, but there seems little point in forcing him to stay beyond this summer, with the teenager set to be very unhappy if he doesn’t get his wish.
In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has delivered a “scandalous” verdict on wantaway winger Gnonto.
