View: 49ers must take control of Leeds United now to avoid catastrophe, time for Andrea Radrizzani to go

Leeds United have hit disaster status right now and are already staring Premier League relegation in the face after the 3-2 defeat against Fulham.

Jesse Marsch somehow still has the packing of the board despite only picking up two points from a possible 24 in his previous eight matches.

Andrea Radrizzani, Victor Orta and Angus Kinnear continue to defend the American, despite the favourable run of fixtures now coming to an end with Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester City to come in our next five.

The 49ers Enterprises must be watching on at Elland Road with disgust.

They did not get involved to watch Leeds become a team who regularly fights relegation in the Premier League, and now must be the time for them to take full control of the club.

With an agreement in place to be exercised before 2024, time is running out to really start making big changes and if we want to avoid catastrophe, this has to happen now.

Kinnear spoke out to fans with rubbish on Sunday, and it is time he, Radrizzani and Orta were shown the exit door at Elland Road, as they simply are not good enough.

Jesse Marsch cannot avoid the sack either as things stand, with a complete overhaul clearly needed.

Fair enough, the manager was not backed enough financially in the summer and was left without a clear left-back or new striker – two positions that have needed addressing for years now.

That is clear incompetence.

Paraag Marathe and the 49ers need to take full control ahead of January, sort this mess out in the boardroom and possibly even a new manager and then back them heavily in the winter market.

This squad has clear holes that have been glaringly obvious for years, and it is embarrassing to see that they have not been solved as we continue to rely on nothing short of rubbish options.

Change is coming at Elland Road, and it is up to the 49ers if they do it before catastrophe hits.

In other Leeds United news, this player could be first in the Elland Road boardroom as new contract talks may take centre stage
